Dennis Robert Adrian Stinn

Dennis Robert Adrian Stinn, 87, of Loveland, Colorado, passed away peacefully on December 4th.

Dennis was born on October 19th, 1938, in Stuart, Iowa, to Edward and Bertha Stinn. He graduated from Dowling High School before proudly serving in the United States Air Force. Upon his honorable discharge, he returned home and married the love of his life, Margaret Ruby, on July 7th, 1962, in Des Moines, Iowa. Together they raised a family, built several successful businesses, and created a life grounded in hard work, partnership, and devotion.

A talented carpenter, Dennis shared his craftsmanship and knowledge with his sons, passing on not only skills but a deep appreciation for the trade. He will be fondly remembered for his quirky sense of humor—including his famous “see my fist” joke—along with his generous spirit and loving heart.

Dennis and Margaret cherished their time traveling and especially enjoyed the fun of casino trips. A devoted sports fan, Dennis rarely missed a Nuggets or Broncos game. He loved playing golf with his brothers-in-law and shooting pool with his son John, creating memories that will be treasured by all who shared those moments with him.

He is survived by his wife Margaret; his sister, Angie Jacobs; his children John and Sue, Alan and Wade, Dennis and Michelle, Richard, and Jone and Mark; twelve grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and his siblings; Hedy, Sister Carmelita, Marita, Vern, Edward, Jerry, and Joan.

A funeral Mass will be held on December 15th at 11:00 a.m. at St. John’s Church in Loveland, Colorado, with a reception to follow.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
