Gloria Lee Knapp
Jul 26, 1938 — Jul 28, 2026
Gloria Lee (Graff) Knapp went to be with her Lord and Savior on July 28th 2026.
Born to William (Bill) O. Graff and Lucille F. (Travis) Graff on July 26th 1938 in Mound City, MO.
While working at her first job at the State Theater in Mound City as an usher and concession stand attendant she met the love of her life, John E. Knapp. They later married in 1955 after John’s return home upon completion of his service in the Army.
They had four children and raised them in Fort Collins, Colo. They were married 22 years but always remained close and supportive throughout their lives.
Gloria eventually moved the family back to her hometown in Missouri. There she worked for Schuylkill Metals/Exide Technologies for 20 years as a Security Guard, retiring in 2008. On many occasions Gloria stated how much she loved her many years working for the company.
She is survived by her children, Cindy (Bob), Richard, Sheila (Merle), and Kevin (Ruby). Grandchildren, Joy (Dan) Newton, Dustin Knapp, and Evan Gilland. Great Grandchildren, Cecilia Velarde and Sam Velarde. Sister Peggy Johnson, and many nieces and nephews.
Per Gloria’s wishes cremation has taken place. A private celebration of life will be held in Colorado at a later date.
