Kevin Brumfield
Jan 12, 1963 — Aug 12, 2026
Kevin Brumfield 63, of Fort Collins died August 12th after years battling congestive heart failure and dementia. Kevin was born January 12, 1963, in Rockford, IL, to Lester and Vera. He was the 6th child and the baby, resulting in him being extremely spoiled. He grew up in Rockford, IL and graduated from Page Park High School. In 1984, after the death of his father, he moved to Fort Collins to live with his sister Betty and her family. In Fort Collins he worked various jobs at King Soopers, CSU Athletic Department and Foothills Gateway's workshop. He participated in Special Olympics and loved his bowling league. He was usually happy and very flirty, asking every girl he saw if they wanted to get married. His silliness, quick laugh, and love of Elvis will be greatly missed, in addition to his several expressions, such as, it cost about fifty bucks, when I get a little older and I want to be a fireman like my dad. As well as his love of dancing, especially at his niece Lori's wedding. He is survived by his sister's Betty Lighthart and Pat Brumfield and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his Dad, Mom, brother Don, and sister's Shirley and Mary Elaine. No service is planned at this time and a burial will be held at a future date in Rockford, IL.
