Laurie Kaye Knutson

Laurie Kaye Knutson, born on December 12, 1962, in Denver, Colorado, passed away peacefully on May 16, 2026, in Loveland, Colorado. She was 63 years old.

Laurie was the proud mother of two daughters, Stephanie Larsen and Synthia Jestes. She also cherished her role as a grandmother to Elijah Larsen, who brought immense joy to her life.

The youngest of eleven children, Laurie was preceded in death by her parents, Beverly Knutson and James Christian Knutson.

Laurie's vibrant spirit was evident in her love for music and dancing. A devoted Denver Broncos fan, she found great happiness in cheering for her favorite team. Her beloved dogs were a constant source of companionship and comfort throughout her life. Laurie also enjoyed spending time outdoors, planting flowers, and taking pride in her yard.

Her memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew her. Laurie leaves behind a legacy of warmth, laughter, and a passion for life that will not be forgotten.

A Memorial Gathering to celebrate Laurie's life will be held on June 20, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at a private home located at 320 S Washington Ave in Loveland, Colorado. Guests are invited to bring a side dish to share at this potluck-style gathering.
