Laverne M Schmoll

Laverne M Schmoll, 90, of Loveland died September 8, 2005 at Brookdale North Loveland.

She was born January 1, 1935 in Aurora Co to Arthur and Martha Schmoll. She married Howard Rice on her 18th birthday. From this marriage 4 boys were born. Randy, Ricky, Robert (infant) and Robert. 

She loved life, animals, fishing, and her family. She often adopted people as members of her chosen family. She had a spicy sense of humor and enjoyed sharing it. She grew up in Aurora and later moved to northern Colorado. 

She is survived by son Randy Rice (Rhonda), son Robert Rice (Mary), Grandchildren Ryan Rice- Kiara, Kendall, and Karson. Lisa Eighmy (Rodney)- Jackson and Robert. Kristen Stewart (Ron)- Ilia, Liam and Olivia. Joshua Rice (Nicole)- Bradley, Austin, Riley and Hannah. Kristi Keagan- Charlie, Dakota and Holden. Daughters Amanda Swift (Chad). Geri Rice, 4 great great grandchildren. Many nieces and nephews, and chosen children. 

She was preceded in death by her parents. Her brothers Dick, Allen and Robert. Her sons Robert (infant) and Ricky. Her daughter Arliss and her grandson Zach.

A memorial service will be held Saturday September 27 2025 at 10:00 am with a reception following the service at Viegut Funeral Home in Loveland.
