Mary Ethelyn Croonquist

Mary Ethelyn Croonquist, age 86, of Loveland, Colorado, passed away on July 19, 2026. She was born on July 23, 1939, to Harold and Thelma McMullin.

Mary grew up in Brooklyn, Iowa. She later moved to Colorado to work as a teacher. It was there she met her husband of 62 years, fellow teacher and Iowan, Keith Croonquist. They were married on June 14, 1964. Together they raised two daughters.

Mary was a loving mom and creative teacher. She will be remembered for her musical gifts and caring heart. She taught many children and was active in her church.

Mary is survived by her husband, Keith, and many loved ones: Kristin Paul, Carol and Kerick Adams, Austin Adams, Sierra and Jacob Milbourne, Savannah Adams, Diane and Todd RaPue, Marla Alvaraz, Bill McMullin, several nieces and nephews, and a supportive church family.

A memorial service will be held at Lutheran Church of Hope in Loveland on August 29 at 10 am. Her family is grateful for the kindness and support shown during this time.
