Michelle Minor
August 27, 1962 — July 3, 2018
It is with heavy hearts that the family of Michelle Minor, 55, of Loveland, CO announces that she passed away on Tuesday, July 3, 2018. Michelle’s life began on August 27, 1962 in Gary, Indiana. She was the youngest of 5 siblings in the Rodgers/Radinsky family. She attended Andrean Catholic High School in Merrillvile, Indiana, where she participated in cheerleading and graduated in 1980. In 1981, she welcomed her daughter, Jacqueline, into the world. Michelle’s love for the mountains and desire to be closer to her sister, Pamela, compelled her to relocate to Loveland, CO in 1984. Not long after, she met the man of her dreams, James Minor and married him on July 8, 1985. They welcomed their son, Ryan, in 1986. Jim and Michelle went on to raise their family in Loveland and enjoyed 33 happy years of marriage. Michelle had a passion to be in nature. She loved gardening, camping, and walking. She was an avid gardener for the past 25 years. Her husband affectionately referred to her as the "Basil Queen" because she grew so much of it to make her "famous” basil pesto. Michelle’s generous spirit led her to never show up to gatherings empty handed. She always arrived bearing gifts of her homemade pesto, fruits and veggies from her garden, and other various natural remedies. Furthermore, Michelle was well versed and passionate for holistic and natural healing well before it became mainstream. Not only did she apply this gift in helping family and friends treat their ailments, but she also helped many people in the Whole Body department at Whole Foods Market in Fort Collins for the past 12 years. Above all, Michelle was a very loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Her two grandsons affectionately referred to her as their "La La”. Spending time with her family and friends is what brought her most happiness. She will be remembered for her generous nature, her kind heart, and her radiant inner and outer beauty.
