Ruth V. Murray

Ruth (Belland) Murray, age 98, of St. Paul, passed away peacefully on August 25th surrounded by the love of her family.

Ruth will be lovingly remembered by her son, Patrick Murray; daughter, Janet Murray; sister, Rita (Belland) Johnson; and her many beloved nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard B. Murray; and her brothers, Eugene Belland and Donald Belland

Those who knew Ruth will recall the love she shared with her family, the warmth she brought to those around her, and the many memories she created throughout her long and full life. During her many years with the St. Paul Schools, she touched the lives of students and colleagues alike. She was a cherished mother, sister, wife, and friend whose presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Ruth brought warmth, laughter and kindness wherever she went and will be remembered for her spirit of fun and adventure.

Her family is grateful for the many years they were blessed to share with her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind. Celebration of life to be held at Willwerscheid Funeral Home at 1167 Grand Ave, St. Paul on September 30, 2026 at 10:30 AM.
