Patricia Ann Rush, 78, passed from this life peacefully on April 2, 2026.

Born with a generous heart and an unshakable faith, Pat spent fifty years as co-owner

of Rush Tax Specialists located in Mendota Heights, MN.

Pat spent her life as a devoted wife, mother, and community presence and was a woman of deep catholic faith. The Church was not simply a place she attended; it was the foundation from which she lived.

Above all else, Pat made family her life’s greatest work. She was the center of gravity for her children, grandchildren, and extended family as well. The one who remembered every birthday, decorated and set the table for every holiday, made everyone feel like part of the family, and never let a phone call go unanswered. Her home was always open, her advice always honest, and her love always unconditional.

Pat had a tender spot for animals of all kinds, and any creature that crossed her path was sure to find a kind hand and a soft word.

She is survived by her daughter, Deborah (Paul) Marzahn, sons Jason (Paula) Rush, Jared (Emily) Rush, and Justin Rush; and a wide and loving circle of extended family members who carry pieces of her with them every day.

A celebration of life service will be held Saturday, August 29th, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1154 Seminole Ave, West St. Paul, MN, 10:00 am visitation, 11:00 am service and will be followed by a luncheon.

In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes donations to a local animal shelter or Catholic charity in Pat’s name.
