Corrie Ann Unthank
August 11, 1963 — June 8, 2026
Corrie Ann Unthank was born on August 11, 1963, in Greenville, South Carolina, to the late William (Bill) E. Unthank Jr. and Joanne Floyd Unthank.
She graduated from Brookland-Cayce High School in 1982 and earned a degree in Business Administration from Lander University. Corrie enjoyed a fulfilling career with the South Carolina Department of Corrections, where she worked in Human Resources and Employee Relations until her retirement.
Above all, Corrie cherished her family. A devoted aunt, she took special joy in her nephews and nieces. She served as the family historian, sharing richly detailed stories, remembering every birthday, and making every milestone occasion feel truly special. With her happy heart and infectious laugh, Corrie brought warmth and light to everyone around her.
An avid animal lover, she rescued numerous cats over the years and gave them loving homes. She was also a passionate Tennessee Volunteers fan who proudly cheered on her team through every season.
She is survived by her four siblings: Lisa (Jeff) Aycock, BJ (Christie) Unthank, Heidi (Mark) Thrash, and Russell Unthank. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews — Leigh Anne Aycock, Victoria (Michael) Green, Will (Miranda) Unthank, Abigail Unthank, Joseph (Lorenna) Unthank, Ross and Anna Thrash, Dustin Hartley, Andrew and Emma Unthank — and her great-nieces and great-nephews: Justin, Knox, Adeline, Noah, Caleb, Joshua, Lola Belle, Imogene, and Margaret Joanne.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 14, 2026, from 1-2 p.m., followed by a Memorial Service following at 2 p.m. at Woodridge Memorial Park and Funeral Home Mausoleum Chapel.
Her love for family, her kindness, and her joyful spirit will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
