Jack Edison Whitlow

Jack Edison Whitlow, 75, went on to be with the Lord on Aug 5, 2026 after a long battle with illness. He was born on January 25, 1951 in South Boston, VA to the late Fulton and Pearl Whitlow.

Jack graduated from Halifax County High School in 1969. He retired as Vice President of Fisher Tank Co. after 35 years with the company. He served on the Board of Directors at Fisher Tank for 7 additional years.

He came to know Jesus Christ as his personal Savior in 2006. He went on to pastor Independent Fellowship of the Living Word until his death.

Jack is survived by his wife of 50 years, Vicky Chaney Whitlow; daughters Jackie Boudreaux and Rachel Poling; and grandchildren: Hailee, Amelia, Noah, Isaac, Josiah, Naomi, Ezra, Lydia, Elisha, Micaiah, and Juliette. Great-grandchild Nicoh. Brothers Ricky and Danny, and a number of beloved nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Linda.

A funeral service for Jack will be held at Lexington Church of God at 1331 Nazareth Rd, Lexington, SC 29073, on Friday, August 7th at 1:00 PM. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service beginning at 12:00 PM. Interment will follow the service in Woodridge Memorial Park in Lexington.
