Lucretia Mundy Seigler

Lucretia M. Seigler, wife of William R. (Bill) Seigler, passed away on September 6, 2026.

The daughter of the late R. H. Mundy and Lillie S. Mundy, she was born in Abbeville, SC and was a 1962 graduate of Abbeville High School. She went on to Anderson College where she earned an Associate degree in Business Administration.

Lucretia retired from Colonial Life and Accident Insurance Company, later called Unum.

After retiring, Lucretia helped organize a weekly lunch group that continues to meet. She enjoyed reading, playing cards, and playing games on her iPad. She collected Christmas tree ornaments for over 50 years. Christmas was her favorite holiday. She was an animal lover.

She is a member of Salem United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her husband Bill of 63 years; a brother Tommy (Sharon); sister-in-law Brenda Mundy; nieces Kim Sherard, Dr. Shelia Denman, Stacy Mundy, and nephew Justin Mundy; and two great nephews and two great nieces. She was predeceased by a brother Bobby.

The family would like to thank Cornerstone Caregiving for providing such an efficient, kind, loving, caregiver in Rackell Dominick who became part of our family.

A visitation will begin at 2 pm on Friday, September 11, 2026, followed by a service at 3 pm in the Mausoleum Chapel at Woodridge Memorial Park.

Services are being handled with care by Woodridge Memorial Park and Funeral Home.
