Mary Ann Clarke

Mary Ann Clarke (née Carlton), age 74, originally from Cape Girardeau, MO, passed away on July 19, 2026. Born on November 16, 1951, Mary Ann lived a life centered on her deep love for family.

Her career focused on managing bowling leagues across the country. She took special pride in senior leagues, connecting the retired community through the sport, and enthusiastically supported her son Richard Allen’s career as a professional bowler.

Mary Ann was predeceased by her beloved husband, Brian Douglas Clarke, her parents, Lloyd and Juanita Carlton, and her brothers, Mike Carlton and Ike Carlton.

She is survived by her son, Richard Allen and his wife Sarah; her cherished grandchildren, Piper, Arabella, and Declan (who lovingly called her “MAC”); as well as many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Mary Ann will be remembered as a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother whose greatest joy came from her family. She took special delight in watching her grandchildren grow and in her son’s success on the lanes.

A service will be held on Monday, July 27th at 11:30 a.m. at Woodridge Funeral Home, 138 Corley Mill Road, Lexington, SC 29072.
