Reginald Dewayne Weston

Reginald Dewayne Weston, 60, of West Columbia went to be in the arms of Jesus on Thursday, August 6, 2026. He was born the son of Henry Weston, Sr. and Rosetta Johnson in Columbia, South Carolina on July 5, 1966.

He married Sharol Gordon on February 22, 1998, and they had 28 blissful years of a loving marriage. Their love grew stronger with each passing day.

Reginald was a long-haul truck driver for over 30 years, winning the Million-Mile Driver Award as well as many more awards. He drove 16 of those years with Prime, Inc. and was also a driving trainer.

He loved to play with his granddaughter and was just a big kid at heart. He also loved to play pool with many friends that he gained over the years. He played the trumpet in the band of Eau Clair High School.

Reginald leaves behind his wife, Sharol Weston; children: Rhonda Weston, Shantish James, Leroy Gordon, John Gordon, Sherri Gordon, and Terri Gordon; grandchildren Ariyanna Glover and Elijah Bowers; five great-grandchildren; his parents, Henry Weston, Sr. and Rosetta Weston; grandparents Marjorie Harris and Leroy Harris; siblings: Henry Weston, Thedrick Weston, and Vanessa Weston; and a host of relatives and friends.

The Weston family, with love and thanks, expresses their deepest gratitude for all the love, steadfast prayers, kindness, and enduring support that you have shown to their family through this heartbreaking time. It is greatly appreciated and will always be remembered by them.
