Alma Mildred Wissman

Alma M. Wissman (92) of Mesa, Arizona passed away peacefully on June 24, 2026 with her husband by her side.

One of 11 children, she was born and raised on a farm in Bedminster, Pennsylvania. She met her husband Alban in Philadelphia, a few years after he immigrated to the US from Germany. They married and soon settled in Center Valley, PA.

They built a home, ran a successful business and raised 2 daughters. They loved to travel and had many adventures in the 63 years they had together, including the big move to Arizona almost 30 years ago.

Alma is survived by her husband, Alban, daughters Heidi Wissman and Karla Moore (Terry), and grandchildren Trey and Olivia. Alma is preceded in death by her parents, brother Abe and wife Betty, brother Wilmer and wife Lorraine, sister Doris and husband Arthur Histand, brother Stanley and wife Betty, sister Lorraine and husband Clyde Van Pelt and brother George. Surviving brothers and sisters include: Merril, Wayne, Betty, and Mary.

Alma was a woman of faith who read her Bible even when her eyesight eventually made it challenging. She was always ready to go somewhere. She didn't want to miss out. She also loved to shop.

Alma will be deeply missed by her family, friends and neighbors. She will be remembered always.
