Dorothy Mae Roberts

Dorothy Mae Roberts, age 83, of Chandler, AZ passed away on September 17, 2026. She was born on April 16, 1943, in Hancock, Michigan, to Carl and Rose Wirtanen.

Dottie will be remembered for her faith, love of life, and devotion to her family. She was active in the community, volunteering with her church, the Chandler Fire Dept.-CAP and Dignity Hospital. She is survived by her husband George Roberts, three children, Connie Sable (Scott), Karla Early and Brad Roberts (Shannon), 9 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, her three siblings Margaret Smith (Clyde), Elaine Wirtanen and Ray Wirtanen (Michele).

A memorial service will be held on October 11, 2026 at Risen Savior Lutheran Church, Chandler, AZ at 12:45 p.m.. Her family is grateful for the kindness and support shown during this time. In lieu of flowers the family suggest that memorial donations be made to the Chandler Fire Department.
