Jason Robert Goettl

Jason Robert Goettl, 43, of Queen Creek Arizona, passed away on April 28, 2026. He was born on October 12, 1982 in Blytheville, Arkansas to Gerald Goettl Sr. and Alisa McCarty.

Jason was born into an Air Force family, his childhood homes including Arkansas, Germany and Arizona. All of these places held fond memories but none more so than the “Hubble House” in Scottsdale, Arizona.

In June of 2010 he married his best friend, Shelby, having two beautiful sons, Jacob and Seth. Through their nearly 16 year marriage, he was a devoted husband, father, protector, and a friend.

Jason is survived by his wife Shelby Goettl and sons, Jacob and Seth Goettl; his father Gerald Goettl Sr; mother Alisa McCarty; brother Steven McCarty, his wife Shirley Rosser, and his children, Alexcia, Alivia, Steven Jr; his sister, Monica Ray, her Husband John Ray and their children, Daniel, Elijah, Kamryn; and his brother Gerald Goettl Jr.
