Jean Robichaud

August 1, 1935 – July 19, 2026

Jean Katherine Sheasgreen Robichaud was born on August 1, 1935, in Portland, Maine. She later moved to Massachusetts, where she attended Holy Cross Academy in West Roxbury, graduating in 1953.

In 1956, Jean married Richard “Dick” Robichaud of Waltham, Massachusetts. Together, they established their home in Northborough, Massachusetts, where they raised their four children—three sons and one daughter—and created a lifetime of treasured family memories. In 2005, Jean and Richard relocated to Arizona to be closer to their children and grandchildren.

Throughout her life, Jean held a special affection for the ocean and cherished the many years she spent along the Eastern coastline. Among her fond memories was working as a waitress at a lobster restaurant near the iconic Nubble Lighthouse in York, Maine. The money she earned helped pay for her wedding gown, making this chapter of her life an especially meaningful part of her story.

Jean possessed a natural warmth, kindness, and sincere interest in others. Her gracious personality allowed her to form friendships wherever life took her, and those who had the privilege of knowing Jean often spoke of how much they enjoyed her company. She had a remarkable ability to make others feel welcomed and valued. Jean was a truly special woman whose kindness and gentle spirit left a lasting impression on the many lives she touched.

Jean passed away peacefully at her group home in Gilbert, Arizona, on Sunday, July 19, 2026.

A Celebration of Life will be held in July 2027 at Howard Street Cemetery in downtown Northborough, Massachusetts. Family and friends will gather to honor Jean’s life, celebrate the memories they shared, and remember the love and joy she brought to those around her.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial contributions be made in Jean’s honor to the Arizona Humane Society.
