Jeffrey Finder

Jeffrey “Jeff” Finder, 64, of Mesa, Arizona, passed away peacefully at home on May 10, 2026, surrounded by his family.

Jeff was born June 17,1961 in Waterloo, Iowa. In 1979 Arizona became his home, where he built a life centered around family, hard work, laughter, and the people he loved most. Jeff dedicated 42 years of his life to Honeywell, working as a Aerospace Metal Spray Operator. He was known for his strong work ethic, loyalty, and willingness to talk with anyone who crossed his path. Many will remember Jeff for his big laugh, outgoing personality, and ability to make conversations feel effortless and welcoming. Above all, Jeff loved his family. He especially treasured time spent with his wife, children, and grandchildren. Whether listening to music, watching movies, spending time outdoors camping or fishing, Jeff found joy in life’s little moments. His grandchildren brought him great happiness, and he loved being their Papa.

Jeff is survived by his loving wife, Kathy Finder; his children and their families: Jacquie Finder and Marcus Lane, and their daughter, Samiyah; Becah and Philip Harris, and their children, Tevya and Tyler; and Ben and Hannah Finder and their son, James.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Sandra Finder, and his younger sister, Rachel.

Our family finds comfort in the eternal principles of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the knowledge that families can be together forever.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 23, 2026, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints chapel located at 2835 E. Des Moines Street, Mesa, Arizona 85205. Interment and graveside services will follow at Mountain View Cemetery, 7900 E. Main Street, Mesa, Arizona 85207.

Jeff will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. His laughter, silliness, and love for family will remain with us always. Rest in Peace, Fifi.
