Linda passed away peacefully on May 27, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family. She was a devoted wife, loving mother and mother-in-law, proud grandmother, and a cherished friend and neighbor. Linda touched the lives of everyone she met with her kindness, warmth, and genuine care.

She graduated from Norwood Central High School in 1963 and soon after began a new chapter in Chicago, working in Reservations for American Airlines. It was there that she met the love of her life, beginning a partnership filled with love and shared memories.

Linda found her greatest joy in her family. She was a dedicated mother to her two daughters and later returned to work in retail, most notably at Lands’ End, where she built lasting friendships and brought her warmth and energy to those around her.

She had a special love for time spent with family and friends, and her grandchildren held a particularly precious place in her heart. Whether through laughter, conversation, or simply being together, Linda created meaningful moments that will be remembered always.

Linda is lovingly survived by her husband of 58 marvelous years, (Leland/Lee/Breck); her daughters, Leah (Bill) Boulineau and LeAnn (Aaron) Johnson; and her beloved grandchildren, Charlie and Ava Johnson. She was preceded in death by her parents, Norman and Rosie.

A private service will be held with immediate family only and a casual celebration of Linda’s life will take place later this summer in Minnesota.
