Cake is now part of Altogether. While we’re proud to continue offering trusted planning and grief support through altogetherfuneral.com, individual Cake user accounts are no longer active. As of June 15, 2025, the ability to log in or download files from Cake has ended.
We’re so glad you’ve found your way here. While Cake accounts did not transfer to Altogether, you’re invited to begin again with the free planning tools and resources. Unlike Cake, Altogether doesn’t use memberships or saved accounts, but we’re here to support you however we can as you take your next steps.
No. Your personal information was securely stored in your individual Cake account and could only be accessed with your login credentials. If you shared your documents or End-of-Life Wishes with a trusted contact using a private link, that access is no longer available. As of June 15, 2025, all shared links and login access have been deactivated, and any remaining data will be securely deleted in accordance with privacy policies.
As part of the transition, Cake followed strict privacy and data security practices. After the June 15 deadline, any remaining personal data on Cake’s legacy systems is no longer accessible and will be securely deleted according to privacy policy standards.
Although we may not be able to recover past Cake account content, we’re here to help you take the next step. Altogether offers a wide range of free planning guides, tools, and resources to help you start fresh with confidence.
You can also search by ZIP code to connect with a caring funeral professional in your area.
We understand how frustrating this may be. While a legacy version of the Cake site may still be temporarily accessible, we can’t guarantee that your documents can be retrieved. If you missed the download window, feel free to reach out to us at [email protected]. We’ll do our best to help while limited access remains available.
If someone you trusted was given access to your Cake account through a shared link, please note that those links are no longer active and can’t be used to retrieve your documents.
If you completed Cake’s online planning form, your answers were stored in your account and included in the downloadable file prompted before June 15. If you didn’t save your information before that date, it may no longer be retrievable.
Uploaded documents were files like wills or medical directives. End-of-Life Wishes were answers you entered in Cake’s planning form. Both were saved to your Cake account and would have been included if you downloaded your files before June 15, 2025.
