Mission Mortuary - Seaside is a funeral home in Seaside, California, located in the Ord Grove neighborhood. It is part of Mission Mortuary, a family of funeral home locations serving the Monterey metropolitan area. Mission Mortuary - Seaside is co-located with Mission Memorial Park, a cemetery operating on the same grounds. The location serves families throughout the Monterey Peninsula with burial services, cremation services, funeral and memorial services, pre-need planning, reception and catered events, veterans services including military honors, and ash scattering assistance. Human composting is available through a partner provider.

The mortuary opened in 1988 under the name Monterey Peninsula Mortuary on the grounds of Mission Memorial Park, a cemetery established in 1934 that operated under City of Monterey management for several decades. The mortuary has operated under its current name since 2010.

The facility includes a chapel, reception and event space, a cemetery on-site, identification viewings, and private viewings.

Mission Mortuary - Seaside does not include an on-site crematory. Pet cremation, pet burial, licensed grief therapy, and legal or estate planning services are not offered.

Cremation services are performed at company-owned facilities in the Santa Cruz metro area. Mission Mortuary - Seaside is part of a network of locations that includes its own cremation infrastructure — so families choosing cremation here work directly with our staff throughout, rather than being transferred to an independent third-party provider.  In the event that cremation equipment is unavailable, cremation will occur at another location.
