Funeral Homes Near Clark County, Nevada

My dad died in 2021 from Covid. He was in Nevada, and I am in Oregon, so I was very concerned it would be a nightmare to handle (travel bans in place, plus I have an immune condition myself) . They were quick and efficient, and made everything simple, which was extremely appreciated, as I was exhausted, had never been through a death like this, and was the only person to handle the arrangements. They offered aquamation; my father was in the Navy and loved the water, so this was a nice tribute (they made sure to mention his service record in the death certificate as well). This review is late, but I wanted to add it. Thank you for being compassionate and not over-complicating an already difficult situation.

I would like to leave a review for Raymond Valeras! We have buried my mother and father here at Desert Lawn. Living in another state has been really hard. We visit at least 3-5 times a year. We are always greeted and treated like family by Raymond. Since his employment here the premises have been immaculate and held to the upmost standards. It gives us relief to know that where we’ve laid our parents to rest is being very well taken care of! Thank You Raymond for being that person to us! We will forever be grateful! Vegas Valley Cemation did a fantastic job from start to finish, I’d like to thank Isabella for all her help and being patient with me as I was in a grieving process. I will be recommending to friends and family when time of need. Thanks again!

The Desert Lawn staff was great to work with for placement of my mother-in-law's urn at the cemetery so that her ashes could be with those of her husband. We did not plan anything big but their groundskeeper who was there at the time was very friendly, helpful, and respectful.
