Winston-Salem-Darlene Shadrick Thompson, 77, went home to be with the Lord February 5, 2015. Graveside Funeral Services celebrating her life will be held 3:00PM Monday February 9, 2015 at Forest Hills Memorial Park in Lexington. A native of Harland County, Kentucky, Darlene was the daughter of the late Beulah Lankford and George Anderson Shadrick. She was married to the late Roy Thompson, and also was preceded in death by a number of sisters. Survivors include sisters Lois Cowan of Lexington and Frankie Gosa of Louisville, Kentucky; brother Johnny Shadrick of Wilmar, Minnesota; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. The family will visit with friends from 5-7PM Sunday afternoon at the Pierce-Jefferson Funeral & Cremation Services. Service Information
