Biography Kernersville- Roy E. Bailey, 95, passed away on September 24, 2014 at home with his loving wife Doris (Keck) at his side. Roy was a retired GM employee (Frigidaire Division) of Dayton OH. He also served in the Army and in New Caledonia during WWII. Roy was a loving husband, father, father-in-law, grandfather and great-grandfather who had a passion for playing cards (euchre), gardening, cars, music and fixing all things broken. Roy was preceded in death by his mother; Jeanette, father; George, and four brothers; Charlie, Melvin, Harry and Sam of Dayton Ohio and grandson; Eric Booher of Greensboro. Roy is survived by his three daughters; Kathy Porter & Phil of Kernersville, Patty Booher & Mike of Greensboro, and Betty Adams & Mike of Ocala Florida, three grandchildren; Brad Adams & Patty, Wade Adams of Dayton Ohio and Catherine Booher of Charlotte; two great grandchildren, Caroline & Cole Adams of Beavercreek Ohio.
