Crescenciano (Cres) Delacruz passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, on September 2, 2017 at the age of 84. Born on December 30, 1932 in the Philippines, Cres was the third eldest of 15 children born to Rogaciano Delacruz and Irenea Bartolome. As a young boy, he grew up tending livestock and working on a rice farm with his father and siblings. He often filled his family with nostalgic stories of his childhood, including his experiences during World War II. Cres graduated from high school and received a college diploma as a Geodetic Engineer. As an engineer with expertise in land management, he often traveled internationally and spent time in Vietnam, Guam and Saudi Arabia. In 1963, he married Angelita (Nelly) Ventura and had three beautiful children. Cres is loved and survived by his wife Nelly; children Joel, Dina and Nick; their spouses Judith, Ed and Kandy; and grandchildren Elycres, Judy, and Kaitlyn. Rest in peace Ny, Daddy and Lolo.
