Mrs. Harriet W. Appleton, 96 passed away at Pines of Sarasota. She was a public school teacher. Survivors include her son, Douglas Appleton; daughters, Betsy Appleton and Leslie A. Riggs; sister, Bonnie Bell; grandchildren, Una (Dale) Bombardier, Adam (Amanda) Riggs, Jason Riggs, Sarah Riggs, Julie Zuckerman, David Zuckerman; nephews, Sandy (Kathy) Levine, Donald (Robin) Leibowitz, Bruce (Leslie) Leibowitz; nieces, Linda Leichman, Janet (David) Picheny; sister-in-law, Judith Feist.
