Seymour Fleit

Seymour Fleit "Papa Sam", age 89, of North Las Vegas, passed away Friday, March 15, 2013 at Summerlin Hospital of Las Vegas NV. Papa Sam was born August 1, 1923. He had a career as a meat cutter in a meat packing plant. Papa Sam was a great cook who loved to tell stories, especially about his early days in New York. He also enjoyed playing the stock market on the computer. He was often heard saying "To make a long story short." Papa Sam is survived by his daughter Barbara Horowitz (Dezso Farkas); grandchildren Adam Horowitz (Stephanie Bruckner) and Jason Horowitz (Christine); and great grandchildren Griffin, Michael, Hannah and Jonathan. A graveside service will be held 2:00 pm on Monday, March 18, 2013 at Eden Memorial Park, 11500 Sepulveda Blvd, Mission Hills, CA .
