July 10th, 1929 - December 16th, 2017
Joan Eloise Zlaket, 88, of St. Petersburg, passed away peacefully at home Dec. 16, 2017. Joan is survived by her loving daughters, Jackie Szemesi, Bonnie Collins, Jane Knippen, Mary Fortenbery, Amy Palmer, and Sherry Gates; sister, Peggy Formica; 18 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 56 wonderful years, "Emil". Visitation will be held from 6-8 pm on Friday, Dec. 22 and services 10 am on Saturday, Dec. 23 at the David C. Gross Funeral Home in St. Petersburg. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Memory Gardens. If you would like to make a contribution in lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (stjude.org) David C.
