Belen Galindo Acosta
January 23rd, 1912 - October 21st, 1998
Belen G. Acosta, 86, of Kersey, CO died Wednesday, October 21, 1998 at her home. She was born January 23, 1912 in Castolon, TX to Eusebio and Maria Leandra (Acosta) Galindo. In June 1975 she married Guadalupe Acosta in Greeley. Mrs. Acosta had lived in El Paso, TX, then Las Cruces, NM until 1952 when she came to Kersey. She enjoyed sewing, cooking and church. Her favortie pastime was time with her family. She was a member of Greeley Assembly of God. Survivors are her husband, Guadalupe Acosta of Kersey; two daughters, Guadalupe Blackburn of Cambridge, ID; Beatriz Torres of Aurora, CO; a son, Francisco J. Granado of Kersey; two sisters, Guadalupe Soliz and Josefita Avila, both of CA; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandsons. Friends may visit from noon - 8:00 p.m. Friday, October 23, 1998 at Adamson Memorial Chapel. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, October 24, 1998 at Greeley Assembly of God Church. Interment will be in Linn Grove Cemetery.
