Victor G Ornelas, 74, of Denver Colorado Passed away peacefully with his family by his side on June 13, 2024.
Victor was born on March 24,1950 in Brighton, Colorado. The son of Victor Pete Ornelas, Alice Marie and Frank Quintana.
He is survived by his son Victorio Ornelas, his granddaughters Ariana Ornelas (Donaciano), Alice Ornelas (Deanna), his great granddaughter Adalyna, his brothers and sisters Antoinette (deceased), Via (deceased,) Richard (deceased), Michael (deceased), Smitty, Cisco, Artie(deceased), Tomas, Debbie, Landa, Francis, Frankie and extended family.
Victor was a man of faith and attended church weekly as well as volunteering at the church chapel and attended Adoration frequently. He performed and contributed with Ballet Folklorico De Atzlan, Crusade for Justice and with Ballet Chicano De Atzlan, Enrique Montoya. Within the performances with these two groups, the singers formed El Groupo Con Paz. All of this work started as a result of social justice to educate the community in a positive manner.
His passions were camping, fishing, going to the mountains and being with his family. Victor was an amazing man and was always there to help those in need and give love and support to all his family and friends. Victor lived his life on his own terms. He will be missed.
