Frances Willene Taylor

Frances Willene Taylor, a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away peacefully on June 26, 2025, in Bradenton, Florida, just one month shy of her 96th birthday.
Born on July 27, 1929, in Phenix City, Alabama, Willene lived a life centered on faith and family. She was a faithful member of Grace Baptist Church since 1952, where she taught Sunday school for over 40 years. Her dedication to sharing God’s word and nurturing others in their faith left a lasting impact on generations of church members.
Willene spent many years as a homemaker, caring for her family and creating a warm and welcoming home. She also gave her time generously as a volunteer for Meals on Wheels, helping to serve others in her community with compassion and kindness.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Hoyt Taylor; her parents, Willie and Eunice Boone; and her sister, Anne Russell.
Willene is survived by her daughter, Cindy Yost of Bradenton, FL; two grandchildren, Noah Yost (Tiffany) of Fort White, FL, and Amy Davis (Chris) of Parrish, FL; five great-grandchildren: Riley Yost, Mia Davis, Austin Yost, Connor Yost, and Chloe Davis; and one sister, Shirley Tipton of Bradenton, FL.
She will be remembered for her gentle spirit, her steady presence, and the love she gave so freely.
🕊️A visitation will be held on Friday, July 11, 2025, at 10:00 a.m., followed by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at Grace Baptist Church, 509 26th Ave E, Bradenton, FL.
