Ignacita "Nash" Trujillo
July 20th, 1935 - November 17th, 2011
Ignacita "Nash” Trujillo, 76, of Greeley, CO formerly of Las Vegas, NM passed away November 17, 2011 at her home. She was born July 20, 1935 in Ledoux, NM to Esequiel and Virginia (Trujillo) Vigil. Nash married Teodoro Trujillo in Ledoux, NM in 1951. She was widowed and later met Albert Yara who became her long time companion. She retired from Highlands University in LasVegas, NM and then in 2002 moved to Greeley to be close to her family. Nash was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She touched the lives of many people with her great sense of humor and fun loving spirit. She enjoyed going to the casinos and playing bingo and soon after received the nick name "Grandma Bingo”. Cooking and spending time with her family and friends were two of her favorite things to do, among many others. She will be greatly missed. She was an active member of Los Alegre Ancianos and the Rodarte Center Seniors, who she considered to be her very close friends. She was a parishioner of St. Peter Catholic Church, where she devoted her life to God. Nash is survived by her sons, Ted (Carla) Trujillo, Jerry (Lori) Trujillo; daughter, Theresa Yara (Daniel) Pacheco; grandchildren, Ted Jr., Adrian, Marissa, Jessica, Lucas, Franchesca, Leona, Shantelle, Danielle; great grandchildren, Noah, Lily, Emry, Brandon, Justin, Genesis, Azick, Zayden, Jordan, Aubriana, Ivan, Isaac, Izaiah, Iricio, and one more blessing on the way; and sisters, Elsie Olivas of Laramie, WY, and Perfie Garcia of Greeley. She was preceded in death by her husband, Teodoro Trujillo; companion, Albert Yara; parents, Esequiel and Virginia Vigil; son, Louie Trujillo; sisters, Feloniz Martinez, Josefita Urban, Eda Archuleta, Emilia Trujillo; and brothers, Esequiel Vigil Jr., and Paul Vigil. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Sunday, November 20, 2011 at St. Mary Catholic Church followed by Recitation of the Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Peter Catholic Church, followed by interment at Linn Grove Cemetery.
