Aleida Baez Sainz of Miami, Florida, passed away peacefully on August 16, 2025, at the age of 95.
Born in Cuba on June 11, 1930, Aleida later made Miami her home and was formerly a longtime resident of Clewiston, Florida. She lived a life marked by resilience, grace, and unwavering devotion to her family. A retired professional and woman of strong values, Aleida’s kindness and wisdom left a lasting impact on all who knew her.
She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, and a cherished aunt. Her love knew no bounds, and her nurturing spirit shaped generations.
Her children include Leonor Perez, Ronald Castillo, Juan Jose Sainz, Maria Luisa Vanoers, Lazaro Sainz, Ernesto Sainz, and Pedro Luis Sainz. She is also remembered by her siblings: Orlando Baez, Julio Baez, and Marisela Baez.
Her life was a beautiful testament to family, faith, and quiet strength. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation on Friday, August 22, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon at Akin-Davis Funeral Home in Clewiston, Florida. A funeral service will follow at the funeral home at 12:00 p.m.. Immediately afterward, the procession will continue to Ridgelawn Cemetery in Clewiston for interment.
