Cecile G. Williams

Cecile Gaudreau Williams passed away peacefully on September 13, 2025 at William Childs Hospice House in Palm Bay, FL. She was 95 years old. 

Cecile was born in Lowell, MA to Eva Fortin Gaudreau and Joseph Honore Gaudreau on July 12, 1930. The family later moved to Hartford, CT where she grew up.  In 1948, she married the love of her life Ralston “Bill” Williams and was blessed with four children. They eventually moved to Bristol, CT where they lived for 36 years until they retired in 1995 to Melbourne Beach, FL.

Cecile was an outgoing, and opinionated, person who loved her green eyeshadow, jewelry and a glass of white wine. She loved to laugh, enjoyed staying busy with crafts and home projects and made lap blankets for wheelchair bound veterans. 

Cecile was predeceased by her husband Bill (2001) and daughter Michele Williams Lee (2013). She leaves behind a family that will miss her voice and laughter. Her son Joseph Lenold Williams, of Bristol, CT,

Daughters: Valerie Williams Dziekan and her husband Peter Dziekan of The Villages, FL and Noël Williams McPherson of Satellite Beach, FL. Her grandchildren: Julie Dziekan Harrington, Amy Dziekan Benincasa, Abbey Marsh Williams, Ivree Rose McPherson and Lyla Lyn McPherson, and her great- grandchildren: Caroline  Sloan Harrington, Kathryn Eva Harrington, Olivia Holly Davis and Eva Melina Benincasa.
