Larry Dennis Fernandez, 58, passed away peacefully at his home in Northglenn, Colorado, on September 12, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Larry was a dedicated roofer for 40 years, known for his strong work ethic and pride in his craft. More than anything, he loved his family deeply and was always ready with a joke or a laugh to brighten any room. His sense of humor, loyalty, and big heart left a lasting impact on all who knew him.
He is survived by his beloved children: Nicole (Andrew), Larry (Sarah), and Destiny (Jeremy); and his cherished grandchildren: Kayleigh, Gabriella, Davian, Joseph, Alahni, Ariyah, and Gianna. His sisters Shelley and Susan and his many nephews and nieces.
Larry was preceded in death by his loving mother Elaine, and his grandparents Nash and Delia, who helped shape the man he became.
A funeral service to honor Larry’s life will be held on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at Romero’s Funeral Home, 4750 Tejon Street, Denver, CO 80211. A viewing will begin at 10:00 a.m., with services to follow at 11:00 a.m. All who knew and loved Larry are welcome to attend.
His legacy of love, laughter, and strength will live on through his family and all those whose lives he touched.
