March 2nd, 1934 - September 30th, 2025
Robert Walter Blair, 91, passed away on September 30, 2025.
Born on March 2, 1934, in Portland, Oregon to Eugene and Astrid Blair, Robert grew up with a love of playing outdoors with his siblings in Bonny Slope.
Robert served in the U.S. Army as a Staff Sergeant during the Korean Conflict. After his service, he attended Oregon State University where he earned a degree in electrical engineering. After graduating, Robert made the big move to sunny California where he worked as an electrical engineer, his entire 36-year career spent at Raytheon Company.
Robert’s daughters Pamela (Gary) Sheldon, Maria (Kurt) Grimes, and Lynette (Nader) Askari remember their dad as a selfless, hardworking role model who loved his family. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
In his free time, Robert enjoyed woodworking, genealogy, and watching golf and football.
The family will hold a private memorial. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
