David William Picotte
September 29th, 1942 - October 8th, 2025
David William Picotte, born on September 29, 1942, in Palmer, Massachusetts, passed away on October 8, 2025, at home in Palmer. He was the son of the late Clarence E. and Ida (Smith) Picotte and was predeceased by his brother Bruce Picotte. David is survived by his brother, Richard Picotte (Susan) of Palmer, who will cherish his memory.
David devoted many years of his life to his career at Stop & Shop on Boston Road in Springfield, from which he later retired.
A devoted sports enthusiast, David had a particular passion for watching UConn Women's Basketball and the WNBA. He greatly enjoyed engaging in conversations about sports with his brother. David had a love for cats, particularly his cherished cat, Pepper, who brought joy to his life.
David's life will be honored with private services.
