Wilfred "Willy" Lee Jarvais, age 69, passed away at his home in Wales, Ma on November 1, 2025. Born on August 19, 1956, in Springfield, MA, Willy was the cherished son of the late Aldor Jarvais and Nellie (Balboni) Jarvais of Hampden, MA.   Willy is survived by his children, Vanessa Jarvais and Kathryn Jarvais, Shelly Savicki and her husband Joe, and Thomas Brown and his wife Holly. He was a proud grandfather to Brenden, Emma Rose, Christopher, Finnegan, and Leiana Rose. Willy shared a close relationship with his former wife and dear friend, Christine Fleming. He leaves his 19yo feline companion Willow, who he shared a close bond with. He is also survived by his siblings, Lewis Jarvais, Joanne Leal, Joseph Jarvais and his wife Tammy, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins who adored him.    A hardworking and devoted individual, Willy retired from the Wales Highway Department after ten years of service. His professional journey included a career in construction, where he worked as a truck driver and equipment operator. Willy was not only known as a skilled laborer but also earned the affectionate nickname "Mr. Fix-It." He possessed a remarkable talent for repairing and tinkering with all things. He will be deeply missed by many Friends and community members but most of all his Family.   Willy proudly served his country in the US Army and served as the Commander of the VFW post 2596 in Wales for 20 years. He was very proud of his hard work and dedication to erect the local Wales War Memorial Monument. He had a passion for NASCAR and enjoyed volunteering with the Wales Fire Department.   The calling hours in honor of Willy will be held on Thursday, November 13th from 11:00-1:00pm at the Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home. Following the calling hours, he will be laid to rest with military honors at the Massachusetts Veterans' Memorial Cemetery in Agawam at 2:00pm.
