**Obituary for Margaret Bland Magliocco** It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Margaret Bland Magliocco, who left this world on November 6, 2025, at the age of 90 in Parrish, Florida. Born on November 10, 1934, in Cramerton, North Carolina, Margaret lived a life characterized by kindness, ambition, and a deep consideration for others. Margaret was a proud graduate of Cramerton High School and continued her education at Sacred Heart Junior College in Belmont, North Carolina. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree from Western North Carolina College in 1958 and proceeded to obtain her MBA from the University of Tennessee in 1960, showcasing her commitment to education and personal growth. In 1960, Margaret moved to Florida, where she began a fulfilling career as a teacher. She shared her passion for learning at Winter Park High School until 1965, and later at DeKalb Junior College in Atlanta, Georgia. Her dedication to educating the next generation left a lasting impact on countless students. Margaret’s journey was also marked by love and family. She married John Magliocco in 1965, and together they welcomed their son, John David, into the world in 1968. The joys of family life were central to Margaret, who was devoted to her husband and son throughout her life. In 1975, the family moved to Houston, Texas, and later settled in Brookville, New Jersey, in 1980. Upon retiring in 2000, Margaret returned to the warm climate of Florida, where she became actively involved in her community. Her vibrant spirit shone through her participation in the local art association, book club, and the Homeowners Board at River Wilderness Golf and Country Club, reflecting her love for creativity and connection. Margaret will be remembered not only for her achievements and contributions to education but also for her unwavering kindness and compassion. She touched the lives of many and leaves behind a legacy marked by the values she instilled in her family and the community she cherished. She is survived by her devoted husband, John Magliocco, and her beloved son, John David. The family invites all those who knew Margaret to celebrate her life and cherish the memories they shared. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to a charity of your choice in her honor, reflecting the many ways Margaret enriched the lives of those around her.
