Mementos

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Patricia Lelani Christensen, who passed away peacefully at her home on November 9, 2025 after a courageous battle with Stage 4 Metastatic Terminal Breast Cancer for the last 4-1/2 years. Patricia was born on January 30, 1964.

She was the first born of parents Tisina Wolfgramm and the late Elmer Leroy Gerber. Trish was the oldest of five children: Christine Tauteoli and her husband, Tevita, Teuila Lavea and her husband, Taua, David Gerber and his wife, Jody, and Dan Gerber and his wife, Romeh.

She lived a life full of fun, enjoying her family and friends. She grew up early in life and started working at age 14 so that she would be able to afford the good things in life. Together with her former husband, Duane Samples, they had four wonderful children: Kimberly, DeeJ, Brittany and Taylor. Later she moved to Utah and bought her own home. She was always dedicated to working hard and providing for her family. Trish did everything in her power to make sure they had a good life. While being a single mother for the majority of her children’s lives, they never went without. She took many side hustles and started her own business to provide for her children.

At home Trish was always working in the garden or painting. She had many friends and always hosted family parties. After a decade in Utah, she relocated to Gilbert, Arizona for work. There she reconnected with an old friend, Corey Christensen. Later they were married for time and all eternity in the Gilbert, Arizona Temple.

Trish gained four bonus children who she considered her own:  Aftyn Skinner and her husband, Michael, Reece Christensen and his wife, Alana, Devyn Petersen and her husband, Landon, Kaden Christensen and his wife, Alexa; combined with twenty grandkids: Madi, Braxon, Eizak, Linkon, Archie, Kesiah, Taysom, Kalea, Makia, Zealand, Maddie, Kyle, Kobe, Reese, Emerson, Eliana, Tiana, Sosaia, Kepa, Aranui. Each of whom she loves so much!   Also surviving is her mother-in-law, Leah Christensen, whom she loved as her own and adored dearly; six bonus siblings: Terry Swanson and her husband, Ryan, Dana Christensen and his wife, Jan, Maren Christensen, Andrea Weidauer and her husband, Justin, Erica Valgardson and her husband, Jason, Jessica Bergand her husband, Chris. She also leaves her two other best friends in the whole world who are her two dogs, Mikey and Coco-NUT.

A Celebration Service will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, November 14, 2025 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 2555 S. Stoddard Road, Meridian, ID.

We Entrusted Patricia Christensen's Care To

Accent Funeral Home

A local landmark in Meridian, Accent Funeral Home has been serving the community since 1986. The business was first established with a vision to offer services in a comfortable, homelike atmosphere. This vision is reflected in our building, a Tudor-style home built in 1938 for a local postman. When remodeling the house to accommodate the funeral home, much care was taken to preserve the original architectural integrity of the building. The Accent Funeral Home holds a special relationship with the Meridian community and is sensitive to the area’s changing needs, providing service and friendship to comfort those we serve....
