Patricia Boucher

It is with great love and sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Patricia Anne O’Malley Boucher on November 9, 2025. She was 82 years old.Born on December 31, 1942 in Detroit, Michigan, Patricia was the youngest of John and Winifred O’Malley’s nine children. She grew up in Detroit in a big Irish Catholic family, and had a curious and creative mind.

Patricia married our father, Jerry Boucher, on April 11, 1970, and together they built a life filled with love, kindness, and faith. She was a devoted mother who took great joy in lovingly caring for her family along with countless others who found their way into her life.

 She will be remembered for her unconditional kindness and open heart.Patricia is survived by her seven children: Beth Croke, Julie Handura (Jim), Carrie Boucher, Nicki Boucher, Jerry Boucher (Gina), Kathy Boucher, Annie Elholm (Andrew); eleven grandchildren: Macaelah Barber (Andy), Ani Boucher, Rachel Morgia (Nico), Joey Croke, Harper Boucher, Junie Boucher, Clover Boucher, Grayson Elholm, Kaya Elholm, Mayla Elholm, Paisley Elholm; two great-grandchildren: Iris Barber, Ezio Morgia; her brother, Dennis; and a very large extended family.

We find great comfort in knowing our parents are together again, and our mother has been reunited with her parents John and Winifred, her siblings Jack, Joe, Bill, Fr. Kenneth, Theresa, Bro. Kevin, and baby Kenneth, along with her grandchild Parks Elholm and many other dear family members and friends who have passed.

We want to thank family members and friends who have extended kind words and support, and those who have traveled from quite a distance to be with us at this time. We would also like to express deep gratitude to our mother’s caregivers, Dee and Cindy who provided reliable care, and to Luna who came to our family as a caregiver and became our mother’s dear friend.Our mother’s love and legacy will live on in the hearts of those who were blessed to know her.
