Thomas A. Hudock, 88, passed away unexpectedly at his home on November 14, 2025. Born in Masontown, PA on November 28, 1936, he was the son of Joseph and Lydia (Pavlatka) Hudock. Thomas grew up in Pennsylvania and graduated from Point Marion High School. He then enlisted in the US Air Force which brought him to Massachusetts. As a machine operator, he worked and retired from the former Moore Company that became Moore Drop Forging and then Danaher Corporation in Northampton. In 2019, Tom was predeceased by his wife of 60 years, Joyce J. (Sledzieski) and his love and memory will forever remain with his two sons, Joseph of Granby and Thomas Jr of South Hadley. He is also survived by four grandchildren, Becky McGillveary and her husband Shawn of E. Longmeadow, Joseph Hudock of Newton, MA, Thomas Hudock and his wife Lynn of Ware, and Anna Hudock of South Hadley as well as great grandchildren, Jameson and Charlotte McGillveary and Samuel and Benjamin Hudock. Many dear nieces and nephews also remember Tom. Besides his parents and wife, he was predeceased by his two sisters, brother, two half brothers and daughter-in-law, Mary in 2024. Visitation will be Thursday, November 20th from 4-7pm at the Beers & Story South Hadley Funeral Home with a Funeral Mass on Friday, November 21st at 11:30am at St. Theresa's Church. Burial will follow in Mater Dolorosa Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
