Dennis James Geschke of Henderson, Nevada, passed away on November 15, 2025, after a long health battle. He was 73 years old.

Dennis is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Sheri Ann Geschke (Peterson); his parents, Walter and Majel Geschke (Pottinger); and his brother, David Geschke.

He is survived by his daughter, Suzanne Hoffmeier (Jeff) of Port Saint Lucie, Florida; his sisters, Diane Jetzer (Dennis) of Las Vegas, Nevada, and Debra Erickson of Racine, Wisconsin; his brother, Daniel Geschke of Racine, Wisconsin; his aunts, Gloria Pottinger of Racine, Wisconsin, and Laural Geschke of Union Grove, Wisconsin. Dennis was blessed with five grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, five nieces, and three nephews.

Born on May 16, 1952, in Racine, Wisconsin, Dennis was raised there and graduated from Washington Park High School. He began his career at the American Motors plant in Kenosha, Wisconsin, and throughout the years worked at SC Johnson Wax, Western Publishing, and CentiMark Roofing.

Dennis was an avid tropical-fish enthusiast and took great pride in raising his angelfish. He was equally proud of his rescue Boxer, Champ, who became a certified service dog and faithfully supported him in his daily life. Dennis enjoyed playing bingo, watching the cooking channel and old westerns, and spending time with his family. One of his greatest hobbies was puzzle-making—especially puzzles featuring eagles. His daughter often challenged him with new puzzles that he lovingly referred to as “way out there.”

Dennis was an organ donor and generously contributed what he could to help others. He will be cremated at Kraft-Sussman Funeral Services, 3976 S. Durango Drive #104, Las Vegas, Nevada 89147.
