Steve Archuleta, Sr. lived with a quiet strength that left a lasting mark on everyone he loved. He was a man who never needed to speak loudly to be heard. His presence alone brought peace, comfort, humor, and a sense of belonging to those around him. His wife cherished that presence. She loved his quietness. She loved his patience. She loved his humor. She loved his thoughtfulness. She loved the gentle way he moved through life with her by his side.

To his grandchildren and great grandchildren, he was simply Buelo, and that name held their whole hearts. They remember him as funny, always cracking jokes and messing around. They remember how hardworking he was, always doing something to help himself or someone he loved. They felt how caring he was and how naturally he held the family together. They say he brought out the best in all of them. When Buelo was around, everyone felt like the best version of themselves. He made them laugh. He made them feel happy. He filled their lives with love that they will carry forever. Their words remain a tribute to the love they shared with him. Thank you for every memory. Thank you for being there. It is never goodbye. It is only see you later.

To his sons, he was their foundation. They believe that who we become often comes from the small lessons fathers give when they are not trying to teach anything at all. Their father shaped them with steady example and quiet wisdom. He was their best friend and their hero. Calling him a good man does not come close to describing him. He was extraordinary while living as if he were simply ordinary. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and a loyal friend, brother, and uncle. He was the first to arrive, the last to leave, and always willing to help. His honesty and compassion guided anyone who turned to him, and every conversation with him offered clarity and comfort. His sons never doubted his love for a single moment.

To his sisters, he was one of the greatest joys of their life. His sense of humor lifted their spirits and brightened their days in ways only a brother can. Nothing will ever be the same without him, yet they will remain strong knowing he is always just a memory away.

Steve loved golf, and it was around the game of golf that he loved bringing his family together. Sharing stories, laughter, and time on the course created memories that will never fade. He also loved cheering for the Dallas Cowboys, celebrating the wins, suffering the losses, and gathering his loved ones for every game. Golf and football were reflections of how he lived. Patient, loyal, steady, and happiest when surrounded by the people he loved.

Steve lived a life that changed people. He taught his family what it means to stay connected. He taught them to show up for each other. He taught them to live with kindness, humor, and strength. His love will continue through every life he touched, because he shaped his family from the inside out.

He is gone from sight, but he is not gone from their hearts. For his family, this is not goodbye. This is simply: See you later.
