It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Marlene Ganice Seybert, who departed this life on November 13, 2025, in Melbourne, Florida. Born on December 19, 1953, in Sacramento, California, Marlene was a beloved daughter, wife, mother, and grandmother, whose warm spirit and outgoing personality touched the lives of everyone who knew her.
Marlene was a proud graduate of Eau Gallie High School. After completing her education, she devoted herself to her family as a dedicated homemaker. Throughout her life, Marlene's vibrant energy and passion for life shone brightly, inspiring those around her. She had a profound love for collectibles and cherished the joy of antique and thrift store shopping. The beach held a special place in her heart, serving as a sanctuary where she found peace and happiness.
She is survived by her loving husband, Wilbur (Butch) Seybert, of Rogersville, Tennessee; her son, Jeffery Varnadoe, and daughter-in-law, Kimberly Varnadoe, both of Melbourne, Florida; her cherished grandson, Wyatt Varnadoe; and her step-daughter, Sarah Short, of Rogersville, Tennessee. Marlene's legacy will continue to live on through her family, who will always remember her for her infectious laughter and the warmth she brought into their lives.
A special gathering to honor Marlene's life will take place at a later date, where family and friends will come together to celebrate her remarkable spirit and the memories they hold dear.
In this time of loss, we encourage all to cherish the memories of Marlene and the joy she brought to the world. She will be deeply missed.
