James Crespin, born July 3, 1959, passed away on November 13, 2025, in Longmont, Colorado. He was the beloved son of Magdalena Schmidt and Macario Crespin.
James lived a life filled with passion for sports and the outdoors. He loved football, basketball, soccer, and baseball, and cherished time spent fishing with his family. His joy for these simple pleasures reflected his deep appreciation for connection and togetherness.
He is survived by his parents, Macario Albert Crespin and Magdalena Schmidt (partner Jesus Rodriguez), and was preceded in death by his stepfather, Walter J. Schmidt and brother Macario A Crespin Jr. James leaves behind his brothers Christopher J.S. Crespin, Kevin (Doreen) Schmidt, and Mike (Bonnie) Schmidt; and his sisters Nora (Antonia) Ramirez, Karen (Bobby) Chapman, Jaqueline L. McNealy, Tammy Crespin (Anthony Tillman), Angel and Tyler Blocksom, Pam Leonard, Gail, and Diane Naylor.
James will also be remembered by his caregivers Dan and Lori Strader and Susan, his dear friend and housemate Cathy, and his many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.
His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him, and he will be deeply missed.
