It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Steven Wayne Wise, age 79, who departed this life on November 19, 2025, surrounded by loved ones. 

Born on April 11, 1946, in Salina, Kansas to Wayne and Retha (Wauhob) Wise. Steven was known for his sense of humor, adventurous spirit, and love of family and friends. Throughout his life, he shared his gifts as a jack of all trades, touching countless lives with his dedication and compassion. 

Steven cherished time spent fishing, hunting, camping, hiking, water skiing, playing and coaching softball and baseball, and traveling on countless road trips. He was a champion Pollyanna player that took his game very seriously. He enjoyed all genres of music. He will be remembered most for his dedication and hardwork.  He always applied his quick wit to any situation.  He had a strong will and a hard head, but a soft heart.  He was kind, caring, and entertaining.   

He is survived by his wife, Manila Wise and his children and bonus children - Rita Foulkes, Robert Wise, Stephanie Wise, Jonas Wise, Matt, Cody, Tyler, Tyson Arnold and Kati Van Sicklen (Arnold), as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  He is also survived by many extended family members and friends who loved him dearly.  

Steven was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, sister and infant son. 

A celebration of life will take place at a later date.
