Kernersville, NC – Tom “Tommy” Darezzo, 83, was called home by his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Monday, December 1, 2025, after a brief illness.

He was born in Providence, Rhode Island on May 9, 1942, to the late Gaetano and Maria (Tedesco) D’Arezzo.

In addition to his parents, Tom was preceded by his son Tommy Jr.

Tom worked in Rhode Island as a builder and Master Craftsman for many years.  In North Carolina he retired after working for Home Depot as a kitchen designer and installer.  Tom was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church.  He enjoyed traveling with his family, fishing, boating, and motorcycles.  He was an avid Denver Broncos fan since 1982.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 44 years, Mary; 5 children; 16 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and one on the way; and a number of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Mass will be held Saturday, December 13th at 10:00AM at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 616 S. Cherry Street, Kernersville, NC.  Placement will follow in Holy Cross Catholic Church Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, Tom’s family has requested donations be made directly to a charity of your choosing in his memory.
