It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Giarah Alfred, who left this world on November 23, 2025, at the tender age of two. Born on November 23, 2023, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Giarah brought immense joy and love to all who knew her, and her sweet, lovable nature will forever be etched in our hearts.   

Giarah's brief but beautiful life was filled with joyful moments spent watching her favorite shows, including Tito Lizzardo and Catty B, and CoCoMelon. She found immense joy in simple pleasures, such as enjoying a traditional Haitian dish called labouyi, along with noodles, rice and beans, and gravy. Her laughter and smiles will be deeply missed, leaving an irreplaceable void in the hearts of her family and friends.   

Giarah is preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Vella Octobre. She is survived by her parents, Stadraff Pierre-Louis and Guy Alfred; her dear sister, Kehana Alfred, who was the light of Giarah's life. The family remembers how Giarah delighted in playing the role of ‘mommy’ to her baby sister, showing a level of tenderness beyond her years as she lovingly fed and cared for her; maternal grandfather, Elorus Pierre-Louis; paternal grandparents, Alfred Reneluque and Noralus Annativilia; along with her extended family of seven aunts and five uncles, who also mourn her loss while cherishing the memories they created together. 

In this moment of grief, we remember Giarah not with sorrow but with gratitude for the sweetness she brought into our lives. She will be forever remembered for her spirit and her tender embrace of life and family. May her memory be a blessing to all who loved her. In celebrating Giarah’s life, we invite all who knew her to hold close to the special moments and the immense love she shared.
